Gabriele is a Master of Mechanical Engineering graduated from Politecnico di Bari.
Throughout his Bachelor's and Master's programs, he developed a comprehensive understanding of mechanical engineering basics and delved deeper into advanced subjects such as additive manufacturing and supply chain management.
Fueled by his curiosity about how things work, he conducts soft robotics research, focusing on electroadhesion-based soft grippers, electrohydrodynamic fiber pumps, and fluidic artificial muscles.
He is currently a Research Affiliate at MIT Media Lab - Tangible Media Group, working on project Robofluid that aims to make fluidic systems truly portable and wearable with silent operation.
